Danbury ISD is a TEA Recognized District!



 Limited Open Enrollment for 2012-2013


Danbury ISD has a limited open enrollment program for students who live out of the district. There is only one scheduled enrollment period per year.
The initial enrollment period for the 2012-2013 school year was June 4 - June 28, 2012. We have re-opened and extended the enrollment period through Monday, August 27, 2012.

New Limited Open Enrollment Students
Danbury ISD will begin accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year from parents of students living outside the boundaries of the district for tuition-free enrollment on a limited basis.
Limited open enrollment is available at the following campuses/grades ONLY:
Danbury Elementary School – Grades K-5 (openings depend on available seats)
Danbury Middle School – Grades 7-8 (10 openings per grade level)
Danbury High School – Grades 9-12 (10 openings per grade level)

Applications will be accepted between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM  at the Danbury Administration Building, located at 5611 Panther Drive in Danbury.

The Danbury ISD website is designed to give students, parents, staff and community members essential information about the educational opportunities, extracurricular activities, and related programs available to all the stakeholders in our educational community. Danbury Independent School District adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for Maintenance and Operations than last year's tax rate. 

The tax rate will effectively be raised by 1.62 percent and will raise taxes for Maintenance and Operations on a $100,000 home by approximatley $105.97.
